Professional Makeup Display Counter
When you walk by a window display, you are encouraged to buy what is on the mannequin. Even in the supermarket with the produce laid out in a rainbow of colours, you just want to purchase and eat every one. That is the magic of a display. A true marketer knows how effective these displays are for showcasing the products that you have, the variety and how well they work. The same is true for makeup display counters.
Display counters can be found just about everywhere. When it pertains to makeup, you can usually see them in department stores and in makeup studios. A display has various uses. Some of them are detailed below.
- Display goods in stock and those that will be coming soon
- Showcase brands
- Entice shoppers and passers-by
- Show off promotions and sale prices
- Familiarise persons with particular brands
In the studio, a display counter makes it easier for the makeup artist to decide on and reach products, rather than bending over into a kit. It also shows the client a large range of makeup tones and shades he/she can choose from. Many clients have allergies and some know exactly what exacerbates them. If the client sees the products you are going to use, he/she can warn you if he/she knows there would be a negative reaction to it. Many artists also sell cosmetic brands in their studio. A counter display allows the prospective buyer to browse before making a final purchase.
There are different kinds of display counters available. Some resemble elevated tables with a flat top and a small backdrop. Another type would have lights in order for the products to stand out to the viewer. Others have moving signs with looping product advertisements and halogen lights. Some kinds are just for counter tops while others are free standing; some even are portable so that you can move it around the store or studio depending on the current promotion. Most displays have slots or holders to easily store the products.
Regardless of type, all the products must be visible and the branding of the products must be clear. It may make sense to have several smaller stands to arrange different products, for example all blushes here and all foundations can be found there. All of the products must be firmly attached to the stand so as to prevent accidents when reaching for an item.
