Natural Eye Makeup
Sometimes it’s ok to relax and not go all out with your eye makeup. You may want to look very natural and just decide on an enhancement of the eyes. That is perfectly fine, especially for an everyday look. So here are a few tips on how to create a bright eyed perfectly perfect natural look that works for all eyes.
For natural eye makeup you really just want to illuminate the eye area to give the eyes some perk.
Firstly apply some concealer to cover the dark circles and hid puffiness under the eyes. Apply little by little using a concealer brush or your ring finger to gently distribute to the entire area. A light creamy concealer would do the trick.
Cover your entire fixed and mobile eyelids with an even coat of concealer. You want to unify the skin tone in this area so that it appears naturally flawless.
Set all the concealer with a light dusting of powder.
Use a matte cream shadow in a vanilla or cream tone and apply to the mobile eyelid. Blend very well into the concealer.
Apply a pale cream or taupe shadow over the cream eye colour with a very fluffy brush.
Next, with a crease brush, dip the tip into a medium brown shade and apply lightly to the outer corner of the eye, blending up into the crease.
Use a lighter brown shade to apply to the crease with windshield wiper motions. Blend, blend and blend again. This is the key to achieving this look as all the colours should seamlessly flow into each other.
With a fluffy brush, get a pale highlight colour with no shimmer and brush under the brow. Make sure you blend down into the other colours.
Use a beige colour to go over the crease again and blend up slightly into the highlight colour.
To add some definition to the eyes, take a brown shadow with a pointed brush and apply it only to the outer corner of the lash line, making a small wedge shape. Blend this up into the crease.
Using the same colour and brush apply some brown to the lower lash line only on the outer edge.
To define the lash line without seeming overly made up, dot black brown pencil eyeliner in between the little spaces in your lashes. Blend up slightly with a stiff flat brush.
With a light hand add a flesh coloured eyeliner to the waterline.
Add one coat of mascara for each eye, lower and upper lashes.
Use clear mascara to your eyebrows to keep them in place.
Your eyes should now look awake and naturally fresh that only you would know you’ve actually used makeup to enhance your beautiful eyes.
