Makeup for Success
Surely there has been an occasion where you have attended a party with a marvelous dress that fit you perfectly, but you still felt that something was missing. You knew you weren't quite perfect, but you didn't know what to do to shine, to be the star of the party, to light up the party with your face, with your presence. Well, okay, here I'm presenting you an offer that will ensure that situation never happens again.
Your Skin Makes the Difference
In order to ensure that a makeup gives you spectacular results what we first must keep in mind is that our skin must be healthy. We must concentrate on providing our skin with nutrition and take care of it every day.
The skin needs for us to clean it with foam products which contain special ingredients, like milk. We must use products especially made for our type of skin (dry, mixed, oily). Always apply toner after cleansing. We may think that this step isn't very important, but understand that when we cleanse the skin, our natural pH becomes unstable. If we don't use toner, the skin will need four hours to recuperate, in which time our pores are more open, outside agents, like pollution can enter our skin. This can cause us to go shiny and get blackheads.
After cleansing and toning our skin we must provide nutrition or hydrate it. This will give our skin a visible aspect of health. It will help slow down the appearance of wrinkles and lines of expression.
It's important to repeat this process twice a day. Once in the morning and once at night so that the skin will be at its best.
Makeup's foundation, the foundation of results
We find different types of foundations, fluids, creams, ones that highlight, and matte finishes.
A liquid foundation will look very natural, but it's imperative that we choose a foundation of the same tone of our skin (If you want to achieve a darker skin tone, it's best to use a bronzer. It results in a more natural and favorable look.)
We recommend that you use a foundation with illuminator. If you find them too heavy, mix your foundation with an illuminator. It gives illumination to the face without the shine. (Illuminators in cream are easier to apply and because of its texture it gives an aspect of hydration to your face).
Dazzle them with your eyes
The eyes should be perfectly made up. There shouldn't be any lines visible. Remember that with this makeup we are aiming for a touch of luster, uniformity, and balance.
Before anything we ought to be careful with concealers. The liquid concealers result in a very natural look, but the coverage isn't as good as the ones with a creamy texture. On the other hand, the latter can be very dense. If we aren't careful when applying, it can accentuate those expression lines.
We can avoid this by using small amounts of product and blending it in well. Also, if it is very dry we can mix it with a bit of moisturizer to make it less thick.
The shades should be pearly, with much shimmer, so that they may illuminate the eyes. Outline the eyelashes with eyeshadow and a beveled brush. Blend in, erasing lines.
Apply a shade of pearl or iridescent on the eyelid. With a light color in the rose shades, blues, or greens. Apply a shade of white with lost of shimmer under the brow; it will bring you light, it will give your eyes volume, and it will lift your brow giving expression to your eyes. Blend in the shade towards your temples. You will achieve a natural aspect to your look and widen the eyes.
Curl the lashes, and apply black mascara from the root to tips. Use small strokes on the lower lashes.
A Touch of Color on the Cheeks
Use a rose color in cream texture on your cheeks. The ending result will be luminous. You will avoid powder texture which rob us of that shimmer we're all looking for.
Apply with soft strokes with your fingertips; blend in well. (Remember we avoid leaving any obvious lines).
Setting without a Matte finish
While it is true that in order to make your makeup last longer we need to apply loose translucent powders. We are seeking to achieve a makeup that has luminosity and if we use those types of powders, we would loose that shimmer on our skin. Therefore we use loose powders that contain illuminating pigments to set your makeup without getting a matte finish.
An Irresistible Mouth
The mouth is the final point in this makeup. Apply a gloss with a natural tone, almost without color. It'll only bring luster to the face. It is better not to use lipliner. We all know by now that any lines are not part of this type of makeup.
