Makeup Brush Sets

A couple of weeks ago I came home with shoulder pains. After a while I figured out that my handbag was just too heavy for me to be toting around all day. The main culprits were my makeup bag. After I cleaned out that so I only carried bare necessities, I also examined my makeup brush kit. I was carrying around almost every makeup brush I owned. And when you’ve acquired about 30 brushes so far, that’s quite a bit. I had to ration that down as well as every ounce adds up to the need for a daily massage.

Is it so far fetched then that makeup companies have been peddling different makeup brush sets for so many years? It is infinitely easier to arrange shorter brushes by purpose and requirements and leave the lion’s share of brushes at home for in depth makeup application.

Here are some brush sets on the market:

Makeup Brush Sets for Eyes

This has about five brushes just for making up the eyes. It generally includes a large eye shadow brush, an angled brush, a sponge applicator, a crease brush and liner brush. This is great for touch ups on the go. The only extra tool required would be a powder compact with a mirror for sprucing up the face.

Makeup Brush Sets for Face

Since the eyes already have it, it makes sense to have a compact kit for the face as well. Expect to find a powder, blush, contour, concealer, and lip brushes all in one case.

Travel Makeup Brush Set

These are shorter versions of the most necessary makeup application away from home. A powder brush, concealer brush, eye shading brush, baby kabuki brush and a lash and brow comb would be among this set.

Magnetic Makeup Brush Set

This is a real beauty! Imagine one wand with interchangeable heads. This is true genius as the heads fit securely with magnets and can be easily changed as the need arises.

Double Sided Makeup Brush Set

These are economic little wands that take brilliant advantage of space. Each brush has bristles on both sides so you cut down on the need for single individual brushes. Foundation and concealer can be on one stick while a powder and blush brush can be paired on another.

A brush set is a quick and very portable way for applying makeup when you’re away from home and the comfort of a full brush set.
