ESCA Makeup Products

ESCA stands for Electron Spectroscopy for Chemical Analysis. What does such a weird sounding name have to do with makeup? Well, I’ll tell you: it’s another name for the purest of mineral makeup lines. The products are made solely from minerals and antioxidants and are not tested on animals. Sounds too good to be true? Read on to find out more.

Traditional makeup is normally infused with dyes, fragrances, oils and alcohols that irritate even normal skin. These ingredients are absorbed into the layers of the skin where they can cause adverse reactions like redness, dryness and breakouts. This is not the case with ESCA products. The mineral makeup ingredients are free from additives and fillers so that they are quite suitable for those with sensitive skin or those that want a natural product that is also environmentally friendly.

The texture of these products is quite dry; not drying. This allows it to absorb any excess oil produced by the skin during your daily routine. This factor also pre-empts any need for an expiry date: a good thing since a little of the product indeed goes a long way. It takes very little time to apply, thus speeding up, or even encouraging, an everyday makeup routine. The result is natural looking beautiful skin, without the worry of clogged pores. It usually includes sun protection so that your skin is protected from damaging elements as well. There is a wide range of skin colours to choose from which is happy news for the ladies with darker skins who are sometimes forgotten when manufacturers produce cosmetic lines.

It is often questioned how well can a powder mineral product conceal any problem areas in the skin. There is no need to fear here: the foundation formula is so concentrated that blemishes and other imperfections are a thing of the past. Simply use a concealer brush and tap onto the desired area for medium to full coverage.

It is best to apply mineral makeup in thin layers with buffing movements. If you apply with a heavy hand you run the risk of having a very dry or chalky appearance.

Looking for a men’s skin care line that’s all natural too? ESCA products do not overlook our male counterparts. The simple three step skin care system for men is all natural and targeted for the issues men may experience when shaving and grooming facial hair.

Feel free to try mineral makeup for a naturally polished look that is suitable for everyday usage.
