I'm already running around from one event to the next trying to get places on time and be dressed appropriately for the occasion. I have the day planned down to the minute, but I only have ten minutes to go from an executive look to a party look :-) I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about, right? We always rush around from one thing to the next. That's why today I'm going to tell you how to get ready in 10 minutes and transform your image.of course, speaking of getting ready in ten minutes, soon we're going to launch a new course that will make you an expert in doing your own makeup. You'll learn how to do everything from a smoky eye to a natural look..but that's all I'll tell you for now. If you're interested, join our waiting list and I'll keep you informed.

Makeup
As you can imagine, I've been wearing makeup since 8:00 this morning, so I won't have time to take it all off and start over. That's okay though; with a few touch-ups, you can transform your day makeup into a spectacular nighttime look.
Foundation
Use a clean sponge to remove the foundation you're wearing, paying particular attention to the area under your eyes where more product normally accumulates. Next, use a damp sponge to apply a light layer of fresh foundation and blend. Now you have new foundation and a completely made-up face.
Conceale.
Use concealer, but this time use very little product or dampen the brush before application so you don't apply too much. Conceal undereye circles, paying special attention to the inner corners of the eyes and underneath your lower eyelashes. Traces of mascara typically settle in these areas.
Powder
Use mineral powder to add light and life to your face; you'll need it after having spent the whole day made up. My favorite: Mineralize Skinfinish Powder Natural by Mac. Rather than leaving skin matte, it adds brilliance and freshness to your face. This is one of the products I can't live without.
Eyes
Here is where you start to notice the transformation a little more. Giann Franco, one of Elite Make Up fashion professors, taught me this the other day during a recording. It's very fast and easy, and the result is spectacular.
Wipe off the eyeshadow you were wearing before with a clean sponge and apply a matte, cream-colored shadow over your entire lid. Next, use a damp angled brush to apply black eyeshadow at the roots of your upper and lower eyelashes. The color will look super-intense.
If your eyes aren't sensitive, carefully use the brush to make up the inner rims of your eyes as well, like you would if you were using a pencil. Don't make up the area around your tear ducts; it's best to leave that part clean. Curl your eyelashes and apply two coats of mascara, and your eyes will be stunning.
Cheeks
I always use two kinds of blush: a brownish tone to sculpt and lift my cheekbones and a pinkish tone to add color. Don't abuse the blush or it will weigh down your look.
Lips
Moisturize your lips and apply a touch of gloss. Leave lipstick for another day, because if you're tired, it will accentuate signs of fatigue. It's better to go natural.
Highlighting
Use an illuminating powder or cream on your T-zone, forehead, chin, and cheekbones. You'll brighten your face and hide signs of tiredness. When I'm doing my makeup, especially in a situation such as this, I focus on brightening my skin. Don't skip this step!
Hairstyle
Today I can forget about washing, drying, and straightening my hair - it takes at least half an hour, and I don't have time for that. Instead, I'll opt for wearing my hair up. There are a lot of very flattering up-dos out there. You can do them one of two ways: slicked back or loosely pinned.
The slicked back version is easy and flattering, especially if you'll be wearing an elegant dress. Simple pull your hair up into a low ponytail and apply a bit of gel. Roll the ponytail around your hair band and pin in place with bobbi pins. Then spray with a little hairspray and you're good to go. Side parts look good with this type of hairdo.
There is another very flattering up-do that has been seen a lot this season: a softer up-do. For this look, simply tease at the crown, gather your hair into a low ponytail, and leave a few strands out. Don't use hairspray, and remember that it's important to have very clean hair to pull off this style.
Clothing
Think about what you're going to wear ahead of time. Choose something special, because it will get your energy up and make you forget any tiredness you may feel. I've already decided what I'm wearing: last week in Madrid when I was walking in Salamanca I found a really cute black dress. It's strapless, knee-length number with lace. I'm going to wear it tonight; I hope it doesn't rain! :-)
Accessories
One of the most important parts of your image is accessories. I'm going to carry a bright handbag, some nice sandals, a big necklace, and a cocktail ring. Don't forget to wear accessories and choose them carefully to give a touch of personality and glamour to your look without weighing yourself down.
Now all you have to do is go out and have a good time.
