As you can imagine, I test a ton of products, and although at first thought this probably sounds fun, it isn't fun when every beauty routine has endless options. That's why I've decided to follow a hair care ritual that's SIMPLE! Let me tell you what it is…

  • I wash my hair two or three times a week. I have dry hair, which is why I don't need to wash it every day. If you have oily hair, you will probably need to wash it daily.
  • Scalp massage with shampoo: I've added this step that they always do at the hairdresser's shop. It's very simple: apply your shampoo and softly massage your scalp. A minute is long enough.
  • Rinse twice: before moving on to the mask, rinse your hair twice.
  • Use a mask twice a week and conditioner once a week: I always try to leave the product on for at least five minutes to give it a chance to work, and most importantly, I apply it after my hair has been thoroughly towel-dried.
  • Dry without rubbing: if you rub your hair with your towel when it's wet, you will damage it and cause split ends, so be careful.
  • And to finish: foam for volume and a heat protector whenever I'm going to use a straightening iron or hair dryer (in other words, always).
  • Sometimes, if I notice that I have split ends, I use a few drops of serum.
