Today, on my way to work, I was noticing how my skin was beginning to shine and the hotter it got the more my hair began to frizz. I couldn't stop thinking that instead of the half-sleeved shirt and Capri pants that I was wearing, I should have chosen one of those cool dresses …

Yes, it's true, it is difficult to have an impeccable image when it's so hot, especially when working; and when the workday gets longer, it's almost impossible. But as you know, I love a challenge, so today I'm going to tell you a few tricks that will help. I'll reveal a few products that work and some easy hair styles that I assure you you'll like. So now, there's nothing stopping you from having an impeccable image during summer as well…

The Makeup Look

During the day and during the summer, I stick to these two looks because they make me look and feel good…

Natural
The typical “I'm made up, but you can't tell” look. Without a doubt, it is more difficult, but following these steps you'll easily get it:

  • Apply corrector to the needed areas.
  • Powder foundation or moisturizing cream with rouge.
  • A touch of bronzing powder on your forehead, nose, chin, and upper cheekbone.
  • A brown-toned cream eye shadow that covers the entire upper eyelid.
  • Corrector-brightener in the tear duct and lower eyelid areas in order to illuminate.
  • A double layer of mascara on the eyelashes.
  • A cream rose-colored blush right in the middle of the cheeks.
  • Lip Gloss.

Sophisticated
As you can see in the photo above, it's a makeover for a special day, although in reality the only thing special is a pink strawberry-toned lip gloss. Follow these steps to get this look :

  • Apply corrector in all the needed areas.
  • Powder foundation or a moisturizing cream with rouge.
  • A touch of bronzing powder on the forehead, nose, chin and upper cheekbone.
  • A matte-brown eye shadow on the eye bone and a slightly pearly cream on the lower eyelid.
  • Eyeliner on the upper eyelid.
  • Vanilla-colored eyeliner inside the eye.
  • A double layer of mascara on the eyelashes.
  • A matte-rose blush.
  • A strawberry-toned lip gloss. Apply it directly on the lips for a more natural look.
  • A cream brightener on the cheeks, the eyebrows, and Cupid's arc.

Products that will help
For me, this is what I like for summer...

  • A powder makeup called Nude from Dior: it's quick to use, light, and looks natural.
  • A bronzing powder from Bobbi Brown: I prefer the matte because is very natural. The truth is that this is one of my “fetish” summer products. I use it to give my face a little color, over the foundation or without foundation. I have never seen such a natural bronzing powder!
  • Cream eye shadows from Bobbi Brown: I love them because they last all day long, when it's hot or not.
  • My latest discovery from MAC is the Blush of Youth rouge : It's supernatural!
  • And for my lips… I don't go anywhere without my new gloss -- Maybelline Super Stay Power Gloss (the Glass Rose color ), I love it! Finally a lip gloss that truly lasts and doesn't chap my lips.

Hair-do Looks
Also, all day long and all summer long, I stick with these two fast and favored looks:

Natural
It's time to really let your hair define its style. If your hair is wavy, curl it even more, if it's straight, straighten it more, it's the most natural look, and besides that, you'll save time. Ever since I have discovered that when I leave my hair curly I not only have a more natural look, but I only takes five minutes to comb my hair (compared with the 20 minutes that I needed before to style it.) Think about the amount of time that I've lost combing my hair! So now that it's summer and the natural look is in, enjoy it!

Sophisticated
You probably never thought that a pony-tail (as seen in the picture) could create a look so sophisticated and in such little time. You can see that at times it's not necessary to over complicate. A pony-tail with a touch of glitter spray and a few drops of cream on the ends is all that is needed to create this look. And if you don't have long hair, draw it up in a small casual twist. The key here is not in the hair, but in the makeup with which it's combined.

Products that will help
These are the products that I can't do without during the summer:

  • As you know, I've always got the GHD iron close by whether it is summer or winter. J. is better, you can see the difference. Furthermore, what's even better is that you can straighten, wave, or curl your hair with the same tool.
  • In order to heighten the curl use the revitalizing s pray Hidra–Rizos from Garnier, it's so soft and it works.
